Winter is slowly
drawing to a close.
The lessons it has taught
about stillness and cold
brings a better appreciation
of colorful flowers and
late summer hours
does not go unnoticed
to those who pay attention.
The delight in my bones
tingles with anticipation
for getting more time
in the day which will lead
to more possibilities
of what’s left to say.
